Iran ‘The Unseen’ to screen at Romanian fest

Transilvania Int’l Filmfest in Romania is to screen Iran Animated Doc ‘The Unseen’.

The 2020 Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF.19) in Romania has picked to screen Iranian Animated Documentary ‘The Unseen’.

The feature-length Iranian film, directed by Behzad Nalbandi, will be shown at the ‘WHAT’S UP, DOC?’ section of the 19th edition of the Romanian film event.

‘The Unseen’ is an attempt to show the pains and miseries the homeless people, especially women, must endure.

A City is about to receive some high-ranking guests so the officials take all the hobos off the streets, in order to make the face of the city more beautiful. These incarcerated men will get their release within two or three days after their arrest but the women will get a vague destiny.

The flick has already been showcased in a number of international fests, including the Krakow Film Festival in Poland.

Headed by Mohammad Atyabi, the Iranian Independents film distributing company is in charge of foreign screenings of the flick.

According to an earlier report on ifilm, ‘A Hairy Tale’, directed by Homayoun Ghanizadeh, is among the feature films to compete at the Romanian film festival this year.

Established in 2002, TIFF is one of the most spectacular events in Romania. It aims to promote cinematic art by showcasing creative and exceptional films. It also includes an educational platform for the audience.

This year’s edition of the event will be held on July 31-August 10.
